Submissions: Disclosures/What to Expect

The purpose of this website is to collect and publicly share stories and information about adultification bias.

We will not sell any submitted content to third parties, but we cannot prevent third parties from pulling or using content from this website.

We may choose not to publish submitted content.

Although we will make our best effort to review submissions in a timely manner, we cannot estimate a time for the review and/or publication process to be completed.

Submissions may be edited for brevity, clarity, relevance, confidentiality, or other purposes, including deleting information to protect the identity of involved parties. You will not have the opportunity to approve these changes in advance of publication, but we will make all reasonable efforts to preserve the core meaning of the content.

Although the subject of adultification can be sensitive, we cannot provide assistance with any mental health or legal issues raised in conjunction with submissions. If you have experienced bias and need help, please seek professional assistance from mental health providers or legal counsel near you.
